Yes, there were two back to back games at the Sanibel School’s fields on a hot, sunny afternoon, but the team at Sanibel Air Conditioning enjoys doing that. After all, supporting Sanibel’s youth sports is something that they love doing both on and off the field.
Sanibel Air’s new sign for The Sanibel School’s sports field helps raise the necessary funds to pay for the maintenance of the fields. Brothers Bryan and Todd Hayes, who co-own the company, are actively involved in community sports on the islands. Sanibel Air sponsors the Sanibel Youth Soccer program; a recreational club for children ages 4 through 14 who live on Sanibel and Captiva islands. And, they are also involved in coaching one of the Sanibel Youth Soccer teams where Coach Bryan Hayes is known to be both a dedicated and fun coach. Sanibel Air’s sister company, Sanctuary Island Electric, is also involved in island sports and has an Adult Softball League team where they’ve been known to win a game or few.
“It’s a lot of fun to be out on the fields with the kids. We really enjoy and are always grateful to have the opportunity to make these contributions in our community,” said Bryan Hayes, owner of Sanibel Air Conditioning. “It’s important that we all continue to support the kids and provide them with such great places to spend an afternoon.”
