Sanibel Air Conditioning, Inc. continues its commitment of supporting members in its own community by sponsoring The Flats Invitational Charity Redfish Challenge which took place on September 1, 2012. The 8th annual tournament, formerly known as the McFlat’s Invitational Redfish Challenge, raised money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of SWFL, and of course, gave fishing buffs an opportunity to compete for a $7,500 grand prize.
The Ronald McDonald House provides a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children undergoing medical treatment. Sanibel Air’s managing partner Todd Hayes and his wife Jennifer have actively supported the charity for years.
“We are grateful to once again have the opportunity to sponsor this event and to make this contribution to a great cause,” said Todd Hayes. “It’s great to be able to support such valuable organizations in our community, and also have the opportunity to participate in something that is really fun.”
Sanibel Air was started in 1988 and has maintained their promise to provide the best local service around for over 24 years. Sanibel Air is active in the community, and participates or contributes to many charitable causes throughout the year; some of their primary contributions are coaching and supporting many youth sports teams, sponsorships to the Sanibel-Captiva Lions, Kiwanis Spaghetti Dinner and sponsoring the Fillet & Release Tournament that benefited the Hope Hospice which serves the Lee, Glades and Hendry counties.
